A hard life from day to day Making them never ask why it is so The days of pain are a part of life Maybe crying is the best way out A land full of bloated stomachs Where children are fed with hate Let us wait for their future When the crippled souls grow up The children, keep on crying aloud May the leaders hear your voices And change the laws of their lands So you can live like humans The saddened eyes peer at tomorrow But can’t even imagine fresh milk While the children of the west know abundance They only know that tomorrow is hunger Sukamiskin, 9/2/1992 Moh Jumhur Hidayat |
